Facilities

This page details the facilities available at the hall.

The main hall can accommodate up to 125 people.
It is approximately 14 x 8 metres in size and has a laminated wooden floor which was laid in 2019.
It has been redecorated recently (mid-2024).

Chairs and folding tables are available and included within the hire of the hall.

The main hall has a curtained stage measuring 5 metres across and 4 metres in depth.

The hall has a separate committee room which can seat 12 for a meeting or 25 for a presentation quite easily, and the configuration can be adapted to suit your requirements. This room can be hired separately or together with the main hall.

Commitee room

The Hall now has a brand new kitchen (finished in Sept 2023 and made possible from a grant and help from South Norfolk DC, the Community Council and James Alston).

The hall toilets have been upgraded recently.
There is a disabled toilet included and the hall has access ramps available for wheelchair use.

Toilets

There is a spacious meadow to the rear of the hall, which provides a picturesque and sheltered venue for outdoor events. It is equipped with electric hook-ups to provide power for outside mains equipment.
This area is used every year for our Fete. See our GALLERIES page for images of the meadow in use.

There is plenty of parking on the shingled area at the rear of the hall.

The south-facing roof is fitted with PV panels enabling the Village Hall to receive an income from the electricity generated.
